The Netherlands is currently actively developing remote-controlled bridges and locks. To ensure the optimal functioning of the entire system, advanced remote visualization capabilities of these infrastructures are essential.
To address this need, Gebuwin has established a collaboration with Valmont, a leading tower manufacturer, to develop a winch system that simplifies the process of raising and lowering cameras.
The design of this winch system has been conceived to enable quick and effortless installation and removal of tower cameras, making it suitable for multiple locations. Additionally, the winch features a manual control system that allows for precise and controlled locking and unlocking of the camera at the top of the tower. For a swift descent of the camera, a drill can be used.
To ensure maximum safety, the winch includes a gearbox with additional time delay and an anti-rebound clutch, providing greater control during operation. This way, the camera can be raised or lowered over a distance of approximately 25 meters in just three minutes.
